Our History:

Atlantic Fire Training  is a recently established training agency that specializes in firefighter self-rescue and survival.  Although Atlantic Fire Training was formally established in 2009,  the instructors have all taught various fire service courses and workshops for the past several years.

One of the goals of Atlantic Fire Training is to offer affordable training in self-rescue and survival for all departments, large or small.  We feel budget constraints should not keep your firefighters from learning these important skills.

We take pride in the quality of our training workshops and feel every firefighter and fire officer should know these skills.

Our workshops were developed with the input of all our instructors.  Also, our Firefighter Survival & Self-rescue Workshop was developed to be in compliance with the Ontario Fire Service Health & Safety Advisory Committee, Section 21 Guidance Notes. AFT also keeps firefighter safety as our top priority during training evolutions. We aim to bring a street-wise approach, coupled with proven techniques to our Survival and Self-rescue Workshop.  As instructors, we have all had close calls on the fire ground and know the importance of these skills.
